Spend time tasting and seeing the goodness of God’s heart, then respond with creative expression (eg collage, writing a poem or letter, painting, drawing). Peter & Kathryn Yaxley love living in Poatina, surrounded by God's beauty - inspiration for life and ministry. They've been engaged in different facets of Kingdom life and ministry for over 3 decades. This has included youth work, men's and women's ministry, leading retreats, mentoring, itinerancy, writing and now teaching online as well as face to face, under the banner of Kingdom Presence Ministries.

They have a heart to equip and encourage God's people to live life to the full. Peter and Kathryn find pleasure in marrying a passion for rich Biblical word pictures, reflective time with God, and the creative space to respond to an encounter with God.

Your Next Chapter

Embracing Your Next Chapter

What better time than at the start of a new year to consider where we are at, where we have come from, and where to from here.

John has created a question series to help people do some strengths assessment and intention setting, or if you'd prefer, "a gentle reconnaissance of the inner landscape". This takes the form of a fun, safe, and thought-provoking writing activity without any pressure to share what's written - it's just between you and the page. Join us if you'd like to find some words and phrases to hold as 'hope signposts' heading into the year ahead, or even further in your future! John will host this session live from Melbourne.

Merinda Young has worked as a glass maker / designer for over thirty years, focusing on stained and kiln-formed glass for architectural settings. She has travelled to study with some amazing glass artists from around the world and loves to pass on her skills and knowledge through teaching workshops and mentoring.

When not making or thinking about glass, or chilling with other glassies, Merinda loves nothing better than quiet time with a book, a chat and a cuppa with friends or a walk on the beach with her dog, Holly.

Rose Hamilton is a multi-disciplinary artist with many years experience making art with found objects. Her experiments in kiln-formed glass capture the character of the Poatina village and natural surrounds and sell at the Poatina Tree Gallery.

She has spent many years basketmaking, weaving and willow furniture-making, among other art forms and expressions.
